The summer of 2003 Micro Technology has introduced graphics dual data rate SDRAM (GDDR-3) memory chips, and to ATI and Nvidia samples. The company plans to put the GDDR-3 in volume production in the fourth quarter of 2003 using a 0.11μm process.
