光在单模光纤中传播时可能获得与单模光纤几何位形有关的附加位相。本文报道了在单光子水平上对这种几何位相的实验观察,证实了这种几何位相的量子起源。
When propagating light in a single-mode fiber, it is possible to obtain additional phases related to the geometry of the single-mode fiber. This paper reports the experimental observation of this geometric phase at the single-photon level, confirming the quantum origin of this geometric phase.
