The convection demonstration experiment of water was conducted according to the device shown in Figure 2-16 of Book 2 of the junior high school physics textbook. The effect was not ideal. As the potassium permanganate crystals dissolve into the water faster, the water in the flask quickly turns purple, and students cannot observe the convection path of the water. After repeated trials and observations, we came up with the following method. As long as a thin glass tube is added, the original device remains unchanged. Note that the following steps can be used to achieve significant demonstration effects. First look for a thin glass tube that is slightly longer than the depth of the flask.
