使用POMS对北京城区182名中老年人进行的测量结果表明:北京城区中老年人的心境状态总体上健康;身体锻炼对于改善部分消极情绪具有一定的积极意义;太极拳、剑、慢跑和导引保健功等不同锻炼方式在缓解紧张—焦虑、愤怒—敌意、疲劳感和慌乱情绪方面具有相似的积极作用;身体锻炼既未能彻底改善抑郁—沮丧情绪,也未能有效地增强他们的精力感,其原因可能与中老年人的年龄特点、情绪健康的基础水平以及抑郁—沮丧情绪自身的复杂性有关。
