随着科学技术的飞速发展,计算机的运用、信息手段的介入,现代化的气息正弥漫在整个图书馆的工作之中。而中等职业技术学校作为培养各类技术人才的教育基地,面对飞速发展的经济技术,即和自身素质又比较差的学生,我认为,图书馆的设置是完全必要的。因为,中等职业技术学校的图书馆作为对未来技术人才实施素质教育不可缺少的物质条件和文化氛围,它的存在和发展对学生的人生观、世界观、价值观、审美观的形成和提高是其他任何教育形式所不可比拟的。它将用自身的科学性和实用性把正确的、健康向上的科学理论,快速、准确地传递给学生,使学生获得所需信息,从而提高自身的整体素质,为将来成为国家的有用之才打下坚实的基础。下面从三个方面具体论述中等职业技术学校图书馆设置的必要性。
