The initial establishment of the socialist market economic system has brought unlimited vitality to the road passenger transport market. The rapid construction of various highways, especially expressways, ushered in an unprecedented spring of development for the road transport industry. Under the new historical conditions, many new unforeseen difficulties and contradictions have emerged in the road passenger transport market in our country. If we can not seriously solve this problem, it will inevitably become a shyness in the development of the road passenger transport market in our country. Therefore, based on extensive research and practice, the author conducted a tentative exploration on this issue and ten contradictions existed in “Passenger Transport on the Road” at present.
