随着锅炉蒸汽参数的提高,工质在炉内汽化所需的汽化热不断减少,而过热蒸汽比热相应增加,大容量高参数的锅炉在炉室上部均布置有屏式过热器,它的吸热量约占全部过热器总吸热量的一半以上,屏式过热器在炉膛出口处相邻间隔一般在500—1500毫米,具有费斯登管的防渣作用,因为屏式过热器的热力特性使它可以减少过热器受热面的布置,减少昂贵的合金钢管材,简化锅炉结构等特点。采用屏式过热器已成为目前大容量锅炉的典型结构。
