一九五三年十月間修訂的中國歷史課本第二冊是初中歷史課本中修改比較大的一冊,內容包括了隋唐五代和宋元兩章,在中國古代中世紀史中恰好是一般刊物論文中討論得較少的一部分,因之未得定論的地方也便相對地顯得多些。當然,教材優點是有目共睹的,以下所提出的一些問題也不會使它减色;但是爲了精益求精,這些問題仍有研究的必要。
The second volume of the Chinese history textbook, revised in October 1953, is a relatively revised volume of textbooks for junior high schools. It consists of two chapters of the Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, and the Song and Yuan Dynasties. It happened to be a periodical in the history of the Middle Ages In the less discussed part, because of the inconclusive place will be relatively more apparent. Of course, the advantages of teaching materials are obvious to all, and some of the problems raised below will not diminish them. However, for the sake of excellence, these problems are still under study.
