那些过分“诗化”或“污名化”乡土的艺术家其实大多都没有真正的乡村生活经验,都是基于某一既定的态度和观念建构一种想象和乌托邦,闫冰则不然,他生于斯,长于斯,虽然后来离开了乡村,但是这些经验已经浸入他的血脉,渗入他的经络,根深蒂固的伦理牵缠决定了他无法真正地背井离乡。也正是因此,他选择了以乡土的逻辑表现乡土的秩序,以自然的话语方式传达自然的本质。
