To date, there has been almost no low-toxic radioprotective agent administered to humans to restore severely damaged hematopoietic tissue. Oral radiation protection agents are rare. Therefore, it is of great significance to study such protective agents on animals. This article reported on X-rays after injection of effective ginseng extract and three oral Chinese herbal medicines that were continuously orally administered. The results of the study are as follows: 1 Ginseng promotes the recovery of radiation damage. After the mice were irradiated with 720R, intraperitoneal injection of ginseng extract increased their 30-day survival rate and increased with the increase of the dose of the extract. The thermally stable portion of the extract after heat treatment still has a significant radiation protection. When the dose/body weight of a guinea pig is approximately four times that of a mouse, the survival rate is particularly improved. The mice were given ginseng extract after 550R X rays for 10 days
