英语词汇教学应关注语言在不同文化背景下的涵义,许多表示色彩的词汇,在语言经过发展、演变,都有其特殊的含义。通过介绍一些与色彩相关的词汇及其例句,了解英汉文化背景下的不同涵义,避免产生望文生义。
English vocabulary teaching should pay attention to the meaning of language in different cultural contexts. Many words expressing color have their own special meanings in language development and evolution. By introducing some color-related words and their examples, we can understand the different meanings of English and Chinese cultural backgrounds and avoid the occurrence of literary meaning.
