太原经济技术开发区(以下简称经济区)位于山西省太原市南端小店区境内,2001年6月经国务院批准为国家级经济技术开发区。辖区北邻太原高新技术产业开发区,西接小店镇,东邻榆次经济技术开发区,内有7个行政村,处于太原市“南移西进”战略及“两市三区”合作开发的中心地带。2002年7月1日起,经济区与太原高新技术产业开发区分离,开始独立运行。
Taiyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as Economic Zone) is located in the southern tip of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, Dian Dian district, in June 2001 by the State Council approved as a national economic and Technological Development Zone. The area north of Taiyuan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, west of Xiaodian Zhen, Yuci Economic and Technological Development Zone east, there are seven administrative villages, in Taiyuan City, “South move westward” strategy and District "the center of cooperation and development. July 1, 2002 onwards, the economic zone and Taiyuan High-tech Industrial Development Zone separate, began to operate independently.
