以滑石制作明器的传统由来已久,但多充当璧、剑具、印等实用器的替代品,而用它制成的随葬俑则较为鲜见。长沙市博物馆收藏有4件滑石人物俑,均为1978年在长沙市赤岗冲二号墓出土,它们雕刻工艺娴熟,文化内涵丰富,是汉魏时期滑石器的代表作。表现出那个动荡年代独有的审美习惯,映射出那个文化杂糅时期复杂的世俗情怀,对中国古代服饰以及艺术史的研究有着一定的参考价值。
The tradition of using talc to make mulches has a long history, but it is often used as a substitute for utility tools such as jigs, pens, and sauces, and the funerary figurines made from it are rare. Changsha Museum has 4 pieces of talc figurines, were unearthed in 1978 in Changsha City, Chigang two tomb unearthed their carving skills, rich cultural connotations, is the Han and Wei Dynasties talismans masterpiece. It shows the unique aesthetic habits in that turbulent era and reflects the complicated secular feelings during that period of mixed culture. It is of some reference value to the study of ancient Chinese costumes and art history.
