都市丧葬习俗改革是都市精神文明建设的一项重要工程。建国以来,在党和政府的大力提倡下,都市的丧葬习俗改革取得了显著的成绩。火葬代替了土葬,各种迷信活动基本上被淘汰或消失。但是,从改革开放以来,与都市现代化建设速度相比较,丧葬习俗改革却呈现相对停滞和倒退,这与都市两个文明建设的发展很不相适应。其中大收花圈、讲排场、铺张浪费之风就是一个较为突出的问题。
Urban funeral custom reform is an important project of urban spiritual civilization construction. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, great achievements have been made in the reform of urban funeral customs under the vigorous advocacy of the Party and the government. Cremation replaced burials, and all kinds of superstitious activities were basically eliminated or disappeared. However, since the reform and opening up, compared with the speed of urban modernization, there has been a relative stagnation and retrogression in the reform of funeral customs, which is incompatible with the development of the two civilizations in the urban area. One of the major revenue wreaths, talkative, extravagance and waste is a more prominent issue.
