What kind of place is the cemetery that is fascinating and frightening to everyone? What kind of behavior is it that links us to the past and eternity? I secretly rejoiced that Father Père Lachaise’s cemetery was closed until sunset. In the daytime, in the most elegant cemetery in Paris, the streets covered by trees are silent. The sun shines gently on the statues that are comparable to the Louvre collection and also through stained glass windows. The bird fluttered his wings lightly. A stray cat rushed through. The courteous visitors searched the map and rustled under the feet. Everything is so harmonious.
