随着航空技术的飞速发展,现代高性能战斗机的机动性能不断提高。目前第三代战斗机(如F-15、F-16、苏-27、幻影2000等)的最大过载可达+9G,G值增长率达6G/秒以上,并可持续15秒~45秒。研制中的第四代战斗机(如F-22)的最大过载将达到+9G~+12G,G值增长率可达9G/秒~15G/秒。通常将G值大于+6G、持续15秒以上的正加速度称之为“高G值持续性正加速度”。
