60年实践,60年发展,中国的科技事业取得了举世瞩目的巨大成就。今天,我国科技资源总量雄厚,科技人力资源从1949年不足5万人,壮大到2008年4200多万,居世界第一位。今天,我国科技投入持续增长,全国财政科技拨款从1953年0.56亿元增加到2008年的2540亿元;全社会的R&D投入2008年达到4400亿,居世界第四位。
After 60 years of practice and 60 years of development, China's science and technology have made remarkable achievements that attract worldwide attention. Today, the total amount of science and technology resources in our country is abundant. The number of scientific and technological human resources has grown from less than 50,000 in 1949 to more than 42 million in 2008, ranking the first in the world. Today, the investment in science and technology in our country keeps growing. The appropriation for science and technology in the country has increased from 56 million yuan in 1953 to 255 billion yuan in 2008. The R & D investment in the whole society reached 440 billion in 2008, ranking the fourth in the world.
