概况白云区位于广州市北部和东部,是以农村工作为主的新城区。面积1042.7平方公里,人口67.25万人,其中农业人口45.32万人,非农业人口21.93万人。辖内有14个镇、4个街道办事处。陆、海、空交通方便,珠江、北江、流溪河畅流其间,公路四通八达,铁路编组站和广州白云机场座落区内。1988年全区经济建设持续、稳定发展。社会总产值26.62亿元(现行价),比上年增长40.45%,国内生产总值12亿元,比上年增长32%;国民收入10.6亿元,比上年增长39%;工农业总产值10.4亿元(1980年不变价),比上年增长39%;财政收入1.35亿元,比上年增长31%。职工平均年工资2355元,农村人平纯收入1424元,分别增长32%和16.9%。
Overview Baiyun District is located in the northern and eastern part of Guangzhou City, is a rural work-based New Town. Area of 1042.7 square kilometers, population 672,500, of which 453,200 agricultural population, non-agricultural population of 219,300 people. Jurisdiction within the 14 towns, 4 street offices. Land, sea and air transport convenience, the Pearl River, the North River, stream Creek during the smooth, the road extending in all directions, railway marshalling yard and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is located in the area. In 1988, the region’s economy continued to develop steadily. The total social output value was 2.662 billion yuan (current price), an increase of 40.45% over the previous year, with a GDP of 1.2 billion yuan, an increase of 32% over the previous year; national income of 1.06 billion yuan, an increase of 39% over the previous year; gross industrial and agricultural output 1.04 billion yuan (unchanged price in 1980), an increase of 39% over the previous year; and fiscal revenue was 135 million yuan, an increase of 31% over the previous year. The average annual salary of workers is 2,355 yuan, and the average net income of rural people is 1,424 yuan, up by 32% and 16.9% respectively.
