作为国内外外语教学的一种新方法 ,同时也是小学英语教学的主要教学方法 ,情境教学越来越受到学校和英语教师的重视。因此,在小学英语的教学过程中,英语教师应结合小学生的心理以及生理特点,营造一种适合进行英语学习的情境,从而激发学生学习英语的兴趣,同时将建构主义学习理论同情境教学完美的结合起来,为学生创造更多练习英语和用英语的机会,从而使学生真正做到活学活用,将课堂上所学的英语知识与英语技能有效地还原在真实的情境中加以灵活运用。本文将针对情境教学的特点和内容分析其在小学英语中的应用。
