一、1983年1月19日早6时委内瑞拉卡拉沙(carasas)的他古电厂(Tacoa Power PLant)中的一个大油罐因漏油被工人不慎点燃起火.现场聚集了大量的救火人员、警察、记者及旁观者。上午11时10分,由于沸腾液体蒸发气爆炸,使附近1000桶容量的贮罐爆炸,被点燃的油立即扩散,吞没了整个人群,造成最后死亡208人的悲惨事故.死者中.救火人员52人.警察43人,记者8人,旁观者105人。很多死者,被烧得炭化.为此事,委内瑞拉政府宣布为死难人员致衷一星期.据官方估计财产损失折合美金三百五十万元.
I. A large oil tanker at Tacoa Power PLant in Carasas, Venezuela, as early as January 19, 1983, was accidentally ignited by workers due to oil spills and a large number of firefighters were gathered there, Police, journalists and bystanders.
