经济全球化促进了文化交流,电影电视对人们的生活日益产生重要影响,成为传播文化的重要途径,字幕翻译应运而生并受到各国翻译学者的关注。然而,国内的字幕翻译,尤其是纪录片字幕翻译缺乏翻译理论指导,许多优秀纪录片因字幕翻译质量低下而未能走出国门。以纪录片《敦煌》的字幕为研究对象,运用顺应论研究分析纪录片字幕翻译,探索有效的翻译方法,为纪录片字幕翻译提供有益的启示。
Economic globalization has promoted cultural exchanges. Film and television have an increasingly significant impact on people’s lives and have become an important way to spread culture. Subtitle translation has emerged and has drawn the attention of translators from all over the world. However, domestic subtitle translation, especially the subtitle translation, lacks translation theory guidance and many excellent documentaries have not been able to go abroad due to the poor quality of subtitle translation. Taking the subtitle “Dunhuang” as the research object, this paper studies the subtitle translation of documentary films with the theory of adaptation and explores the effective translation methods to provide useful inspiration for the subtitle translation of documentary films.
