According to OCT HEM 4087, only wedge key tolerances made from forgings are standardized. According to this standard, the keyway widths for holes and shafts are manufactured as A_5 = C_5 (OCT 1015) and the key width is B_4 = C_4 (OCT 1024); the key height is specified as a tolerance for A_5 (OCT 1015). There is no standard for keyway depths for shaft and hub bores. Tangential key combinations also do not have standard tolerances and are usually manufactured to allow for free dimensional tolerances.
