In modern Chinese, “Quan” as a quantifier can not be used as an attributive or object in a sentence after it is usually composed of a quantity structure with numerals. Such as: “This house is for me to live in.” (As the subject of the attributive). Another example: “The old house is cheap, I also bought three.” (In the previous sentence “house” has been the premise of the object). However, in ancient Chinese, the grammatical function of “inter” is omnipotent, extensive and almost capable of serving as the constituent of sentences. First, act as the subject. Such as: During the one hundred two hundred miles. (“Three Gorges”) sentence “between” is “between” the meaning of the term, such as the use of position words, read jiān. This sentence is translated as: There are 1200 miles between them.
