九月二十三日下午,大会进行到交流各地群测群防工作经验的时候,山西大学附中地震测报组在校革委张付主任的率领下,来到会场,向大会献礼.测报组向大会介绍了他们为迎接这次全省会议,破除迷信,解放思想,发扬敢想、敢干的革命精神,研制成土应力仪、土地温仪、土地湿仪、土电导仪等四部土仪器,受到与会代表们的热烈欢迎.山大附中地震测报组成立仅有两个月的时间,在校党总支的领导支持下,与太原地震台紧密配合,采取了切实可行措施,克服了重重困难,加班加点赶制,,甚至工作到深夜一、二点钟.两个月来,他们共动土约五十方,埋设和安装了土仪器十几种.在开始试报地震中,迈出了可喜的一步.
