I. INTRODUCTION The moving bed and river model introduced in this paper is located in Zu-luland, South Africa, and crosses the Umfolozi River. It is used to determine the optimal bridge position, bridge hole length and bridge piers location of highway bridges. According to the similarity theory to determine the model scale is correct and effective.
