姚耕云(1931—1988),上海人,1955年毕业于中央美术学院华东分院,同年留校任教。生前为中国美术家协会会员,曾任浙江美术学院(今为中国美术学院)中国画系副主任、浙江省山水画研究会副会长等职。早年得到潘天寿、黄宾虹指导,1956年师从陆俨少专攻山水画。其画作在20世纪60至80年代期间多次入选全国性的美术作品大展,有的获奖,并广为国内各大博物馆与海内外收藏家收藏。1980年以中国美术家代表团团长身份访问非洲四国。代表作有连环画《新生》,中国画《比干劲》、《归来》、《雁荡揽胜》、《山阴道上》等,是名画《毛竹丰收》的作者之一。
Yao Gengyun (1931-1988), a native of Shanghai, graduated from the East China Branch of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1955 and stayed on to teach in the same year. Before his death, he was a member of the Chinese Artists Association and was once the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Art) and vice president of the Zhejiang Landscape Painting Research Society. Early Pan Tianshou, Huang Bin Hong guidance, 1956 teacher from Lu Yanshao specializing in landscape painting. His paintings were selected for many national art exhibitions during the 60s and 80s of the 20th century. Some of them were awarded and widely collected by major museums in China and overseas collectors. In 1980, he visited four African countries as head of the delegation of Chinese artists. His masterpieces include “Freshmen” in comic strips, Chinese painting “Better Than Ever”, “Return”, “Wild Goose Range Rover” and “Mountain Vistas”.
