我们厂在十年内乱期间,有五年完不成国家计划。有人曾评论:“这个厂子乱得象打完第二次世界大战的战场”。就是这么个企业,在党的三中全会路线、方针、政策指引下,经过整顿,现在完全改变了面貌,并为四化做出了贡献。我当厂长的时间不长,在这里谈一下如何搞好企业整顿、当好厂长的体会。一、厂长要有雄心壮志“人总是要有一点精神的”。当厂长一定要有奋发图强的精神。党把这么一份宝贵家业交给了我们,我拿什么精神去经营它呢?时逢良机,党召开了十一届三中全会。清除了极左影响,人们摆脱了种种束缚。我受到了鼓舞,增添了力量,明确了方向。同时,也坚定了“要雄心勃勃地建设一个合格的,具有中国特色的社会主义新‘朝重’”的信心。

Clearing the influence of extreme left, people get rid of all kinds of constraints. I was encouraged, added strength, and made clear my direction. At the same time, it also reaffirmed the "ambition to build a confident new socialist ‘total weight’ with Chinese characteristics”.
