任何一种声腔剧种最初都是典型的地方戏。地方戏经历了复杂的形成路径,主要由地方方言小曲发展演变而成、由某种声腔剧种传播演变而成、由多种声腔剧种聚合而成,逐渐构成当下的多元面貌。各地方戏由于包含有不同的文化特色,具有相异的文化品性与特征,它们彼此之间的区别主要表现在所运用方言、曲调、乐器、表演方式和风格的不同上。其根性则是它与各地民众互为依存的特殊关系,它因而成为其心理结构中的文化沉淀。当代地方戏遭遇了时代的严峻挑战,如何既保持住其传统质又能反映时代生活,是一道实践的命题。一方面,继承与创新是地方戏发展的必由之路;另一方面,地方戏的继承创新又要遵循特定的艺术规律、尊重其质的规定性。 Any kind of acoustical opera was originally a typical local opera.
