向本刊推荐选题和投稿的译者当中,中青年占了相当大的比重。为了促使他们特别是青年译者更快地提高翻译水平,本刊于1987年7月15日至20日在青岛市召开了中青年译者翻译经验交流会,来自北京、上海、四川、洛阳、江苏、山东、浙江等地的三十多位译者应邀参加了这次交流会。国家新闻出版署副署长刘果,到会就我国实施版权法问题讲了话。原山东大学校长、本刊编委吴富恒教授,也就文学翻译问题作了亲切的讲话。与会同志就如何选择当代外国文学翻译选题,如何提高翻译质量,如何扩大信息来源,如何加强作品评介等问题,广泛交换了意见,并对进一步办好《译林》提出了很好的意见。
Middle-aged and young people account for a large proportion of translators who recommend topics and submissions to the journal. In order to urge them, especially young translators, to improve their translation level more quickly, this magazine held a meeting on translating experience of young and middle-aged translators from July 15 to July 20, 1987 in Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Luoyang, More than 30 translators from Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang were invited to attend this exchange meeting. Liu Guo, deputy director of the State Press and Publications Bureau, will give a speech on the implementation of copyright law in our country. Former president of Shandong University, editorial board member Professor Wu Fuheng, also on the issue of literary translation made a cordial speech. The participating commanders extensively exchanged views on how to choose the topics for translating contemporary foreign literature, how to improve the quality of translation, how to expand the sources of information, and how to enhance the evaluation of works. They also put forward good opinions on how to further improve the translation of Lin.
