众所周知,语言是交际的工具,语言教学就是要培养学生运用语言的交际能力。外语教学更是如此,它旨在培养学生的跨文化交际能力,语法能力是它的一个重要组成部分,对于以汉语为母语的英语学习而言,语法能力是交际能力的基础。然而,随着英语交际论的兴起,语法教学在外语教学中的地位有所削弱。本文拟从语法教学的重要性和对交际法的认识出发,探讨并寻求适合中国英语教学的有效模式——结构—功能大纲型教学。
As we all know, language is a communication tool, language teaching is to train students to use language communication skills. It is even more so in foreign language teaching. It aims at cultivating students’ intercultural communicative competence. Grammatical competence is an important part of it. For the native English learning, grammatical competence is the foundation of communicative competence. However, with the rise of English communicative theory, grammar teaching has weakened in foreign language teaching. Based on the importance of grammar teaching and its cognition of communicative approach, this article attempts to explore and find an effective model for structure-function synopsis teaching in China.
