黄梅戏是受人喜爱的优秀剧种。六安是皖西大别山区政治、经济、文化的中心,自一九五四年安徽省黄梅戏剧团著名演员严凤英同志来六安演出后,六安广大人民群众对黄梅戏一直爱之若狂。 一九五八年十月,县委为了满足广大群众的要求,决定筹建黄梅戏剧团。开始是抽调专职人员,办了一所近百人的六安县业余文化艺术学校,试教黄梅戏唱腔及表演知识。翌年二月从该校抽出二十二名师生,派往安庆市艺校进行专业培训。
Huangmei opera is a favorite of excellent operas. Lu’an is the political, economic and cultural center of the Dabie Mountains in western Anhui. Since the famous actor Yan Fengying of the Huangmei Theater Company of Anhui Province came to perform Liu’an in 1954, the masses of Lu’an people have always loved the Huangmei opera. In October 1958, in order to meet the needs of the general public, the county government decided to set up the Huangmei Theater Company. The beginning is the deployment of full-time staff, do a nearly one hundred Lu’an County Amateur Culture and Art School, teaching Huangmei opera singing and performance knowledge. In February the following year, twenty-two teachers and students were taken from the school and sent to Anqing Art School for professional training.
