In recent years, with the development of educational technology, language laboratories have been widely used in foreign language teaching and have achieved positive and significant results. It is of great significance to conscientiously summarize the teaching experience of language labs and to explore ways to effectively use language labs to assist foreign language teaching in order to meet the needs of the 21st century education modernization. A foreign language audio-visual education is one of the first bases for the development of modern educational technology in our country. From the early 1950s, some domestic institutions began to use modern media such as record players, radio broadcasts, films and sound recorders to assist foreign language teaching. At present, various audio-visual media have emerged. The language lab has also undergone a reform that has continuously improved its perfection and development in its construction and function.
