2015年2月以前,广西各医保统筹区曾陆续发放过一些医保卡,但功能仅限于在统筹区内看病就医,如果跨区,则没有一张医保卡可以与外界相通。然而仅仅4个月之后,自治区本级和14个市就已经能通过异地就医结算平台实现全区社会保险信息系统互联互通,即参保人员持社会保障卡可在全区2357家定点医疗机构进行异地就医联网结算。截至2015年11月30日,来自广西壮族自治区社会保险事业局(以下简称广西社保局)的数据显示:广西全区社会保障卡持卡人数达到1056万
Before February 2015, a number of medical insurance cards were issued in various health insurance pooling areas in Guangxi. However, their functions were limited to seeking medical treatment in the overall planning area.
