青瓷,是我国古代瓷器中最古老的品种,它是在先民们长期烧制印纹硬陶的基础上发展而来的,用以替代青铜器的礼器或日用器皿。从商周原始青瓷发展到东汉成熟的青瓷器,是陶瓷工艺的一大飞跃,其间经历了1300多年。在这以后,青瓷又经过了三国、两晋和南北朝360多年的不断发展,为唐宋时期青瓷的鼎盛奠定了良好的基础。宋代是青瓷发展最繁荣的时期,名窑辈出,龙泉窑便是其中的佼佼者
