农业机械是农业科学技术推广应用的重要载体,农业机械化是农业现代化的必然过程。一直以来,山区农业生产的发展受到地理条件、耕作制度、种植规模等因素的影响,生产依然是人、畜力为主,机械化水平与平原相比相对滞后。在农机的推广应用中,山区的自然地理条件限制,诸如坡地多、坡度大,不适宜机械作业;人均耕地少、条块分割、难以成规模,不便于机械化成片作业等等,使农业机械的机动化、规模化作业受到一定的限制。
