课程改革发展到这个阶段,师生们对于“课程”的理解应该进入一个新阶段,课程不再是规范的教学内容和教材,也不只是“文本课程”而是“体验课程”。在特定的教育情境中,每一位教师和学生对课程都有自身的理解,课程实施的过程是教师与学生共同创造适合其个性发展需要的积极的教育过程。诚如《数学课程标准》(2011版)总目标第一条提出的要求:通过义务教育阶段的数学学习,要使学生获得适应社会生活和进一步发展所必需的数学的基础知识,基本技能,基本思想,基本活动经验。
