一、设计思路
英语课程标准倡导采用任务型的教学模式,要求“任务设计要真实,以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点”。本节课我共设计了三大任务:
Task 1 Free talk环节设计汇报家庭成员的生日及他们想要的生日礼物的任务,不但巩固了本单元的重点句型,而且拉近了学生与家长的距离。
Task 2 Learn the text环节设计Listen and answer的任务,让学生听引言和对话并回答问题,以此来训练学生用英语思维,用英语表达的习惯。Presentation环节设计我自己快要过生日的具体情境,激起学生强烈的好奇心,让真实生活的话题引起学生的共鸣,促使学生在真实而有意义的语言交际中自然地学习和运用新的语言项目。
Task 3 Consolidation环节设计Make a new dialogue的任务,学完课文以后,让学生把学到的英语技能在生活中实践一下,培养他们的综合语言运用能力。
二、教学目标
1,知识技能目标:在学完B和C的基础上学习A部分
(1)结合句型What date is it today?It’s the…of…复习日期的英语表达。
(2)熟练掌握句型:When’s your birthday?Mybirthday is on the…of…What would you like as abirthday present?I’d like…
(3)能听懂,会读和会说日常交际用语:Mybirthday is coming soon.Would you like to come to mybirthday party?Sure.
Do you usually have a birthday party?Yes.I do./No,I don’t,Would you like a VCD of Japanesecartoons,too?Yes,please.Would you like to watch…?Yes.I’d like to.

2.文化情感目标
(1)学生乐于接触并了解英语国家人们过生日时的风俗习惯,培养学生跨文化交际的能力。
(2)汇报家人的生日及他们喜欢的礼物,学会关心别人,懂得表达情感。

(就“调查”的信息进行交流,能进一步巩固所学的英语语言知识,提高其初步运用英语进行交流的能力。因此,我不想把“调查”看成是一种仅供观赏的形式,我要让它真正发挥作用,我要让学生通过此项任务,真正主动了解家人,真正懂得关心别人。真正学会怎么去爱。)

(教师的生活经历作为英语交流的素材,可以巧妙地展现生活情景,让学生在情景中用英语,给学生创设了英语实践的环境,体现了英语课堂的对话不只是句型的操练,更是语言的自然流露与运用。自然朴素的交流方式更易为学生接受。)

(“提问式”英语课文教学是通过提问引出话题激活学生的现有知识或组织学生预测,然后通过提问给学生布置要回答的问题,组织学生进行听课文或阅读课文,从而更有效地掌握课文。通过提问可以锻炼学生的口头交流能力,培养学生解决问题的能力。)

(通过完成此项贴近学生生活的任务,让学生综合运用所学知识,自主发挥,培养他们的创新意识和运用语言的能力,达到学以致用的目的。)
Step 6 Assign homework
1.必做题
Read the dialogue after the tape and try to recite it.
2.选做题
(1)Make a birthday card for one of your friends oryour parents.
(2)Make new dialogues with your friends orparents,then write it down.
(《英语课程标准》指出:“教师要把凡是学生能够自己独立做的事情都给学生留出空间,让学生有时间、有机会去选择、决定,去思考,去体验、感悟,去创造、实践、应用。”学生是完成作业的主体,他们是不同的个体,他们对事物的体验、兴趣各不相同。因此,英语作业在考虑共性的同时,也应兼顾到学生的个性。使作业成为学生个性发展的园地。)
