以发展普通低合金钢为中心的钢铁产品革命已轰轰烈烈开展起来,十几个普通低合金钢新品种在今年开始推广使用。从此,建筑用钢将逐步从普通碳素钢系统,改变为普通低合金钢系统。设计、施工和科研部门必须以革命的态度来对待这次钢铁产品革命,从设计上采取合理的设计计算方法永合理的结构型式,以充分发挥普通低合金钢的各种优员性能;同时必须认识和掌握各种低合金钢的特性,采取相应的焊接工艺和施工方法,以保证工程的优质和经济。普通低合金钢强度高,低温性能和抗大气腐蚀性能好,是普通碳索钢所不及的。这些优良性能是节约钢材和建筑结构向薄壁轻型发展的好条件,我们希望各单位大力推广使用普通低合金钢。为便于推广使用,本刊将陆续介绍关于普通低合金钢的设计、施工方法和一些单位的使用经验。希望各单位在使用中经常总结自己的经验,并把这些经验告诉我们。
