海伦.斯诺同埃德加.斯诺一样,是上世纪30年代活跃在远东的国际记者。她的《续西行漫记》(《红色中国内幕》)进一步向世界介绍了在陕北的中国共产党和红军的状况,支援了中国的抗日战争。1972年、1978年又两次访问中国,写出了《毛泽东的故乡》和《七十年代的西行漫记》,热情地赞颂毛泽东和中国人民的伟大变革。她的经历坎坷曲折,她的性格刚柔相济,她的作品历久弥新。可以说,她的中国情结书写了她传奇而光彩的人生。
Like Edgar Snow, Helen Snow is an international journalist active in the Far East in the 1930s. Her “Commemoration of the West Bank” (“Red China Inside Story”) further introduced the situation of the Communist Party of China and the Red Army in northern Shaanxi to the world and supported China’s anti-Japanese war. In 1972 and 1978, he visited China twice again, writing “The Hometown of Mao Zedong” and “The Travels of the West in the 1970s”, and warmly praised Mao Zedong and the great changes of the Chinese people. Her ups and downs of her experience, her character is just and merciless, her works have a long history. It can be said that her Chinese complex has written her legendary and glorious life.
