目前 ,各市电信局均已建立了用于局内计算机互连的 Intranet作为局内信息管理系统共用的网络平台 ,它所支撑的应用系统不断增加 ,网络的规模不断扩大 ,因此 ,非常有必要在计算机网上实现跨主干的虚拟网划分 ,从而提高带宽利用的效率及进行安全控制。虚拟网技术解决了逻辑上相关而物理上分散的节点要求进行相同级别通信的问题 ,可满足网络对分段、有效带宽分配和工作组支持的需求。仅仅在一台交换设备上划分虚网往往是不够的 ,同一组的用户有可能分别连接到多台交换机上 ,并且虚网之间有时也需要互相通信 ,因此需要实现跨主干的路由。文中介绍了虚拟网技术及其标准 ,跨主干路由技术 ,并举例介绍了虚拟网的配置方法。

The virtual network technology solves the problem that logically-related and physically dispersed nodes require the same level of communication to meet network requirements for segmentation, effective bandwidth allocation, and workgroup support. Users in the same group may be connected to multiple switches respectively, and virtual networks sometimes need to communicate with each other. Therefore, cross-trunk routing is required. This paper introduces the virtual network technology and its standards, cross-trunk routing technology, and an example to introduce the virtual network configuration.
