Aphasia (epileptic seizure status) is a syndrome characterized by unconscious changes associated with definitive clinical-EEG-related persistent speech disorders. Few clinical reports. Rosenbaum et al. Proposed the following diagnostic criteria for ASE: (1) The patient must be talking during an episode; (2) his speech must be aphasia; (3) he must unconsciously interfere; (4) A clear relationship. The authors report an example of aphasia in multiple sclerosis (MS) with cyclical plaque-like discharges (PLEDs).
