《中国翻译》1988年第1期上几篇文章都是从符号学和文化人类学的角度来探讨翻译问题,读后很受启发。现在把几点不成熟的想法写出来与诸位讨论。这是思考的笔录,谈不上研究。文学作品作为一个符号系统,它的符号单位是什么呢?不外有: 个体活动的(人、物、群体等)←→意义事件(个体之间的动态关系)←→意义情节(事件之间的动态关系)←→意义故事(情节之间的动态关系)←→意义和语词符号系统不同,文学作品符号兼有相似符号(icon),相关符号(index)和相契符
In the first issue of “China Translation”, No. 1, 1988, several articles dealt with translation issues from the perspective of semiotics and cultural anthropology and were very much inspired by the reading.
