自鸦片战争以后,在帝国主义列强的威逼下,清政府和中华民国政府与入侵的帝国主义国家签订的不平等条约、协定、章程或合同多达1000余个。其中涉及大连的条约、照会、专条、议定书、协定等20多个。这些不平等的条约,加上鸦片战争后英国对大连沿海的数次侵扰,俄国、日本两国对大连的轮番侵占,使大连这颗祖国北方的明珠蒙受了近半个世纪的殖民污垢。 Since the Opium War, under the intimidation of the imperialist powers, as many as 1,000 unequal treaties, agreements, articles of association or contracts signed between the Qing government and the government of the ROC and the invading imperialist countries.
