Traveling by bike to the Himalayas, one of the most rugged mountains in the world, is unimaginable, but it seems unlikely that the young people in France have achieved this beautifully. They arrived at the Tibetan capital of Lhasa from Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, on an average height of 4,500 meters above sea level for a journey of 1,000 kilometers in 17 days. Ji Yao Shan Ritt and Ridge Meisang are two young people who often look forward to a more arduous and stimulating bike tour than once. One day, a bold and peculiar idea came to mind: 12 mountain biking tours in the Himalayas and then Everest and the Annapurna. The two young men embarked on a bicycle tour consisting of 12 Frenchmen and an Italian, including himself, for a full three months to prepare himself for familiarization with the plateau climate and to have access to the locals skill. At the same time, they converted their bicycles, reinforced their frames, widened their tires and added a gearbox.
