词汇是语言组成的基本元素。对任何英语为二语或外语的学习者而言,词汇的重要性不言而喻。英语词汇学习是听说读写四大方面学习的基础。然而,对于中国英语学习者,熟练掌握、运用词汇却是一道难题。如何有效的学习词汇是英语学习者,也是英语教师一直探讨的问题。本文探讨英语专业学生在英语词汇学学习过程中如何应用词汇学学习策略,并对英语学习者和英语教师提出一些建议。一、理论基础和相关研究(一)词汇学习策略的概念和分类近20年,二语习得及语言学习策略,尤其是词汇学习策略的研究备受关注。Nation(2001)说“词汇学习策略 Vocabulary is the basic element of the language. The importance of vocabulary is self-evident for any learner of English as a second or foreign language. English vocabulary learning is the basis of listening and speaking and reading and writing in the four aspects. However, for Chinese EFL learners, proficiency in using vocabulary is a challenge. How to effectively learn vocabulary is English learners, but also English teachers have been exploring the issue.
