Over the years, the polymer system has successfully controlled the production of water wells. However, currently available polymer systems have many limitations for high temperature applications (> 300). Based on the study in the laboratory, this article provides the results of the development and evaluation of the polymer gel system. The polymer gel system acts as a sealant to seal the aquifer under high temperature. Polymer systems were evaluated according to the following results: ① sufficient gelling time (up to 400 strata) for injection; ② limited permeability of water phase up to 375 ° C in the flow-through test of the sand-filled model; Model flow tests provide long-term thermal stability at elevated temperatures (up to one year of study). In order to expand the temperature range of application of this polymer system, base polymers, crosslinkers and retarders have recently been successfully tested.
