天井深孔采矿法是五十年代苏联首先采用的一种空场采矿法。当时主要使用普通潜孔钻机钻凿水平炮孔,由于要在天井两侧开凿许多凿岩峒室,采准工程量大、劳动条件差、凿岩效率低,因此这一方法未能得到推广。近些年来,随着天井爬罐和接杆凿岩技术的不断改进,爬罐上面可以安设液压支臂和重型凿岩机,凿岩效率显著提高,劳动条件大为改善,使天井深孔采矿法获得了新的生命力,其应用范围日渐扩大。对此,苏联、瑞典、加拿大都有所报导,现将有关资料简介如下。
