The first five resonance modes were simulated using an acoustic levitator consisted of one single-axis Langevin piezoelectric transducer (LPT) and one reflector. By varying the distance of the cavity, the value of maximum pressure and relative potential is obtained. In order to achieve a better simulative approach of the acoustic field, the minimum possible step of the distance change that can also be experimentally achieved is of 1μm and 0.5μm. The disturbances that occurred during different experiments have been spotted during the simulation. The non-uniform distribution of the pressure is observed at the second, third, fourth and fifth levitation mode, without having any pressure drop points (PDPs) at the first resonance mode. The acoustic field between the LPT and the reflector is simulated using the finite element software ANSYS and MATLAB for the further calculation of the parameters of the system.
