Aims:Reaserch the influence of plant polysaccharide for high fat diet induced unbalanced intestinal flora in mice.Material and methods:8 weeks male C57BL/6 mice averaged stratified random grouping depending basic weight and plasma biochemical indices, normal control feeding MD12031(10% fat Kcal%) standard chow, other groups feeding high fat diet MD12032(45% fat Kcal%) for 14 weeks, food intake, body weight, body weight gain measurement per week or per day, glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol, free fatty acid, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, insulin were assayed by enzymatic kit, collecting mice faeces per 4 weeks for intestinal flora assaying, mice were sacrificed after experiment and collected organs, adipose tissue for histopathological examination. Results:high fat diet significant increased body weight of mice and lipid content in mice plasma and organs, increased the secretion of insulin, improved the insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR).promoted the insulin resistance, and plant polysaccharide reduced the lipid accumulation, enhanced insulin sensitivity. Conclusions:plant polysaccharide can against insulin resistance and hyperlipidemia.
