Purpose: In this study, we evaluate the quality of clinical photographs in the journals of dentistry and oral surgery, which include periodontology, endodontics, oral implantology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and oral medicine.The result describes the current status of clinical photographs among different scopes of dentistry and oral surgery.
